I've seen Volkswagen vans offered for free, I've seen them just really
cheap. I've avoided taking free vans or becoming a collector.
I have my personal 1983 Air Cooled Westy that I think I've restored
(wasted a lot of money on, Paranoid Maintenance) and most times I have a
80-83 Vanagons passing through that I'm stripping down to just barely
rolling before sending them to the crusher or offering them for free.
I currently have an 81 Westy that I'm restoring and I bought a cover for
it to hide the ugly paint.
I'd have twenty VW's of all types if I lived on my farm instead of just
throwing money at it.
