Joseph,

If you are in a cold place it is probably ice that caused your bogging.  Put
in some dry gas (ethyl alcohol type ... read the label)  It's a good idea to
change the fuel filter anyway as water can collect there and freeze causing
blockage or even bursting of the fuel filter.
