If I can start my diesel with no trouble at all at ten below, you
shouldn't have any problem in the toasty teens... : )

Subject: slow cranking in cold weather
so it is getting pretty frigid here in the midwest,
been down in the teens recently, snowing right now...my
van will crank over pretty well down to about 30
degrees, below that it gets pretty s-l-o-w, and i
wonder if it will start at all...it has so far, but i
know i can do something to get it cranking faster in
the cold weather when i see posts from alaskan van
owners...is my starter going?ignition coil? need a new
battery? first winter with my westy, and i will admit
now that i have done no investigation as to how many
volts my battery is holding(?). i am just bored here
at work and was wondering if i could get a jump on the
soon to be problem...all advice welcome, and thanks
