Dear Everyone, After I sent an email to Trasco, I just got a personal phone call from Trasco regarding the acidity testing. The good news is that they DO HAVE all the acidity tests. BUT, all their tests are in Japanese and they have yet to find a translator to translate into English. They are going to mail me a copy of the tests. I'm not sure it will do me any good unless I can find someone who can translate for us locally here in San Diego. (Maybe at one of the Universities or colleges here.) Another problem they said was communication between here and Japanese management and getting them to foot the bill and do something about a translator. I told them that they have a good marketplace in the USA and it behooves them to get the job done ASAP. I think it will now be a matter of the squeaky wheel getting the oil. It would help if a lot (I mean A LOT) of us contact them to ask for the translation. Then maybe management in Japan will act sooner rather than later. They are also going to continue their search for a translator. Does anyone on this list read and speak Japanese who can translate for us? William Polowniak 1989 Vanagon GL 1988 Mercedes 300 SE
