 The FIRST thing is to disconnect the shfter linkage...if you screw up and
the tranny drops? you'll thank me..it bends the C**P out of the rod if you
let it drop... THEN..I use a Herc strap hooked to the lip of the lid opening
and slung under the bellhousing. during the actual removal I'll put a 2nd
floor jack under the tranny...
