Anyone know of a reason NOT to use the hot (battery) connection on the back of the alternator for a temporary power connection while testing a tach to see if it works. I do not currently have a tach or wiring in my 83 and am testing a tach before I go through the wiring routine. I'm in the Northeast and wishing I had a heated garage--or ANY garage for that matter. May the New Year bring you great finds at low prices and no need to be in the back of your Bus except to play!! Dave B 83 Tiico Westy (maybe with a tach soon) 83 WBX Westy 59 SO4
