Tim, How much B-Quiet did you have to buy, what was the total cost, and how long did it take to apply? Did you coat the metal underneath with anything before laying down the B-Quiet, or did you just apply as is (er, was)? Here are two other links for sound-dampening materials: http://www.rapidparts.com/Pages/vwc003u.html http://www.cascadeaudio.com/ To anyone who has applied sound-dampening materials, do you feel it has made a difference? I just did the rear deck, engine cover, under the front and rear seats with the aluminized B-Quiet Extreme product. It is easy to install, is rated higher than Dynamat and is a lot cheaper. I am happy so far but will be adding more of it next time I remove the dash and front carpeting. www.b-quiet.com Tim Hannink Winter Park, Florida Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ -----Original Message----- From: Matthew Pollard [SMTP:poll7356@UIDAHO.EDU] Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 7:15 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: sound dampening materials??? what have people used as sound dampenign materials?
