       I'm curious as to how your RPM/gearing could stay the same.  Another
question: has your MPG changed with the new tires?  I would hate to think
that all you accomplished was a loss of power. Yikes!
       Also, where did you set your mixture at?  There have been some threads
on the list mentioning increasing the ratio to make up for differences in
pressure from the vanagon PR to the golf engine.  If you find a rail that
fits the tiny space in the Tiico, let me know.  Best of luck!
