Good reminder, Ken. I just installed this kit plus a few other shift linkage parts that Ken provided; 2- 251 711 207D 1- 251 711 167E 2- 171 711 166 1- Plastic U-joint 1- Metal ball housing (usually not bad) 1- Shifter guide in box below shifter 1- Lever on the side of tranny with plastic ball on the end Note: add a tube of CV grease to lube all moving parts if you don't have any handy. (Stealing some from that cracked and leaking boot doesn't count!) I figured since I have the whole thing apart anyway, why not replace everything that is subject to wear or breakage? My '85 Westy has 156K on it and this simple little job made a big difference in how the van feels to drive. It also stopped the vibrating shifter. Andrew 85 Westy Gloucester MA
