I bought my 1975 US spec Bus in 1985 when I was stationed on the island of
Crete. I drove it until 1994 and I still have it, but don't drive it
anymore since it doesn't have A/C. I bought a '91 Carat to replace it and
drove it for three years. In 1997 I bought a new Jetta and liked it a lot,
but missed my Vanagon. In May 2000, I gave the Jetta to my wife and bought
my current van, Goldibox. I turned 40 this past summer.
