No I haven't done it, No I wouldn't if you live in
a hilly region, my diesel barely made it with the diesel
4 or 5 spd.  Bring a good book for when going up hills.

Anyone done it? I'm in central PA where the are some mountains. I need
another gear box for a van I want to put on the road. Some have told me to
put in the aircooled gearbox.  Will the 1.6L NA diesel engine be able to
push enough?
