I don't think he had the battery disconnected while doing the work this might caused a short also, when I did my fuel pump I did'nt want to cause a spark so I disconnected the pos on the battery. when i play with wires or electrical I disconnect the battery. BTW my sig light caused a fuse to blow, my wifes cheep tire pump fit loose in the socket. so anything can happen in the world of electrons. :) " heads wanted " hehe poor sap Joe -- Joseph Fortino fortino1@onebox.com - email ---- Steven Denis <NotaJeep@AOL.COM> wrote: > In a message dated 1/16/02 9:35:46 PM Eastern Standard Time, > groch@WORLDCHAT.COM writes: > > << Do you think there is something strange > here that I'm overlooking??? >> > The pump is bad or there is a short...one side of the relay gets power > the > other side gets a ground from the ecu. it SOUNDS like you've overloaded > the > ecu..first the ground side went and then the power side... > __________________________________________________ FREE voicemail, email, and fax...all in one place.
