Hello Dieselphiles My 82 Westy diesel takes a lot of cranking to start after sitting a couple weeks. It finally sputters to life a cylinder at a time after at least a dozen glow plug cycles. Once started it seems to run fine and re-start good. I know the glow plugs are good. Do you think this might have something to do with the lift pump part of the injection pump getting weak? Next time I'll probably try to loosen a fuel line nut to confirm; but I'm pretty sure there is no fuel there at first. Thanks. Rob __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
