Thanks all for the pics and mailings of the A/C pillar.

I see there were two versions:

One with the fuses and relays over the upper cover holder,
the other version with the relays next to the thermostat near the top of the
pillar and the fuses screwed into the cover holder. That�s my version, also.
First I thought someone fixed it in his own way, but it�s stock.

Now I have to rip apart half of the Vanagon to get the whole thing
installed, ouch!
