Please help!

I took a 2.5 hour drive this weekend.  10 min into the trip the engine cuts
off like someone turned off the key.  I toggle the key (without engaging the
starter) while on the roll and she turns back on.

All is well for about an hour.  I stop for gas and get back in.  5 min.
later the same thing happens.  I toggle the key and she resumes.

Today, on the return trip, nothing.  She runs like a charm.

I have had the distributor replaced recently.  They soldered the wires and
taped them real good.

Any suggestions?? Your tips are greatly appreciated!
