Didn't know any Vanagons came with the Solex twins. On the older
2Litres, they were never that great. You can play around with them and
try to make sure they open up evenly, but most of the linkages are worn
to hell.

The 009 is crap. Get the old distributor fixed and put it back on. (or
buy a new vacuum distributor.)
