May the tire saga continue? The 205-70/14 that VW used were not actually an LT tire but a passenger tire with reinforced sidewalls. I have only seen it offered from Michelin. VW vans are usually equipped with 185R14's. The 195-75/14 is a suitable replacement as long as it is an LT rated tire. Another option is to increase the size to compensate. A 215-70/14 will fit perfectly and is rated at 1554 lbs / tire. I currently use Goodyear Wrangler Aquatreads which are also rated to be inflated to 44 psi. However, some do carry LT tires in 195R75/14 and have said that they should work but that they would have to try them out to tell. Does anyone have experience with this tire size?
