I made the 178 mile round trip today to the seven yards that I've bought
Vanagon parts from and they've all had a crushing contest to see who
could clean their yards the fastest.
The one AC bracket that I felt for sure I could get has gone to the
crusher.
A single company owns three of these yards and they said try back in
about a month they've got some Vanagons coming. They didn't specify year
models.
Hopefully the new inventory will come with engines and some much needed
air cooled parts and other Waser boxer miscellaneous that I have
attempted to secure for list members.
Since I've been buying from these folks for five years they always give
me excellent low prices so I'll make a big raid as soon as the new
inventory appears.
