I had the sam problem under the same circumstances. I bet all of your hydrolic fluid is on the ground under your car. So it is peobably a hydrolic line, a master cylinder or (in my case) a clutch slave cylinder. Unfortunately probably not a frozen clutch. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dion Cooze" <Dion.Cooze@METSO.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2002 10:35 Subject: frozen clutch or fluid? > Hi all, > I'm hoping that someone out there has run into or have heard of a frozen > clutch or hydraulic fluid freezing probem. > I've got an 81' Westy and this morning, at -26celsius, I depressed the > clutch and there was zero resistance from the hydraulics. > Any ideas? > Thanks, > Dion > Calgary
