I forgot to mention this on my travelogue, but I borrowed my dad's copy of the Woodall's RV directory--what a resource!! You can use them online at www.woodalls.com, and can buy a paper or CD copy of the guide. It has most every campsite in the US, with ratings and phone numbers, directions, cost, etc. Invaluable. Anyway, it might help. bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...." > From: Vanagon Man <VGONMAN@MSN.COM> > Reply-To: Vanagon Man <VGONMAN@MSN.COM> > Date: Tue, 29 Jan 2002 13:46:42 -0500 > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Campsites near Raleigh NC directions needed > > Volks, > > Heading to Raleigh for the Hurricans Vs Penguins game next Tuesday with my 10 > year old; coming from Charleston, SC. > > First off, if anyone can helpo me with directions to the Raleigh sports arena > where they play that would be great, and secondly if anyone knows of a nice > camground nearby preferably within a half hour back towards Charleston for > after the game........... > > Adam P > > 81 Vanagon Westy (The Brick) > 70 Single Cab "Whitey" (finally on the road) > 74 Beetle "Ol Yeller" > 73 Transporter (STILL at paint shop) > > 1984 Partsmobile (for sale) > 1982 Westy (for sale) > Used Vanagon Parts for sale (mostly aircooled) >
