Early '83. VW changed to the Wasserboxer in the middle of the '83 model year ---
hence the occasional reference to a 1983.5 Westy. I can send you a pic of my '84
if you like --- they look the same...........

What was the last year an air cooled camper was made? I can see some clear
advantages. Anyone got any photos of that model?
