Hello -

I went to my FLAPS the other day and bought a Bosch fuel filter (metal
canister) to replace old one.  Today I looked at the lines and noticed
that from the gas tank lines toward engine ---> a plastic box(fuel
filter, right?) ---> then fuel pump ---> then the canister fuel filter
----> engine.

Why are there two?  BTW the van has lived in California its whole life.
Is this an emissions related issue?  I guess I need to go back to FLAPS
and get the square filter as well.
