There's a project! Somebody needs to convert this .ram file to a wav/mov/mp3 format and put it on the vanagon.com site, so we can listen to it when needing to feel good about our vanagons. I have mood shifts about my westy, depending on how it's running. If I could listen to that segment after, say some leak is newly discovered, maybe I'll feel I'm a part of something bigger than just owning some van. Otherwise, I'll spend the week ranting on how I have to get rid of it. I felt pretty good about my van when listening to that report! brian cochran 84 westy seattle in response to: That's why people like RealPlayer files. They are designed to make it difficult for people to download the actual file. You will note if you download the file, you will end up with a 1K file, which is only a *link* to the location of the actual file. (eg when NPR removes the file, your link will no longer work.) The only way I've been able to find a way to save these is to use a recording tool to record the audio as it is playing. Then save the file from there. For example, I used a shareware program called "Total Recorded" to record the segment and save it as a .wav file. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp.
