Here's the deal:

When a listmember turns on auto-reply and forgets to set his/her
subscription options to NOMAIL, the list messages generate an auto-reply
that goes to the sender. You will typically get one for each message you
post to the list.

When you get one, please forward it to me and I will temporarily turn off
the list-member's mail. No need to bother the rest of the list.

David's subscription is now set to NOMAIL.

Moral of the story - Before *YOU* go on vacation, please visit
http://gerry.vanagon.com/info/unsubscribe.html  and follow the instructions
for "Unsubscribing temporarily".
