I can cruise comfortably at over 80 in my '84 Westy 1.9. 4 sp. though it
wont hold that on all hills.
I have driven across South Dakota and tried to hold 85 but not successfully.
The aftermarket cruise control seems to like 4000 rpm and seems always to end
up there even if I set it higher.
