I would have never thought of any part of a Vanagon being able to turn a

until the other day when I pulled into a convenience store.  The head was
sporting a mullet and it was on the shoulders of a guy climbing into a
ratted-out, monster style pickup.  As I got out of the van he stopped and
asked if the van was 4WD.  I said yes and asked him how he knew.  He told me
he figured it was because of the tires.  Now I have another good reason to
run Hakkapeliitta's: I can impress all the shit-kickers.  If I take this to
its logical conclusion, I'll start drinking Budweiser and wearing cheap
boots
with decorative metal capped toes.
