As I was driving my 89 syncro across Kansas last week, a cop pulled me over, because I was "drifting" and he was worried that I was bored and falling asleep. He had a nice long look through all the windows of the van on his way up, though. And I wasn't drifting, though I did take a couple of gusts of wind. Just a bored cop with nothing better to do than fantasize I was the unibomber or something. No worries, though, he was courteous, just not a good liar. bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...." > From: Matthew Pollard <poll7356@UIDAHO.EDU> > Reply-To: Matthew Pollard <poll7356@UIDAHO.EDU> > Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2002 13:12:23 -0800 > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Re: speeding ticket in Vanagon > > yep i have two tickets on my bus. The open highway on was dismissed (65 in a 60). Both in my 84 1.9L > wbx. > -matthew > > Matthew Pollard "Racing with the wind and flirting with death > Dept.
