It was a beautiful winter day in San Diego at 86 F an much hotter inland. I
got my AC recharged at VW Paradise in San Marcos for $106 as the Dealer
locally wanted $180. It pays to shop around.

When I got home my rear hatch struts did not work. They were new only a few
months ago. I ordered new heavy duty ones from Vanagain.

Any ideas anyone on what went wrong. The heat maybe? The dry heat? Can they
be reapired?

If it is not one thing it is another.
