If you do buy a PC for the purpose of running ETKA, make sure the
monitor or display can be set to 1280x1024. Unlike most applications,
ETKA won't resize to other screen sizes, and is almost unusable at lower
resolutions. This rules out most "old" laptops!

Steve- you are braver man than I. I just can't bring myself
to do it... it's just, somehow, .... WRONG! :-) I have considered
just getting a simple old PC laptop just to run ETKA in the shop
here, but I still would like something on the Powerbook for when I'm
travelling. For example- going to Oahu next weekend to pick up the
88 Grey Westy with new heads I scored for $1600.00! (Just to rub it
in a little) Have to put the engine in and drive it down to harbor
to put it on the boat, and though there is most likely nothing I
haven't seen before- you just never know!
