I rebuild syncro tranny's for $1795  with a 3 Yr warranty plus shipping,
assuming the Ring/pinion is good and they don't have holes in the case or
have been run very low on oil. Chesk the web site or call me if you have

Subject: transmission rebuild on  syncro

my transmission on my 87 syncro has been slowly
getting worse and worse for the past couple of months.
 i can barely get it into 2nd and now it's making
rattling noises in first.  can anyone tell me what the
range in cost will be to get the tranny rebuilt and
reinstalled?  also can anyone recommend a decent
transmission shop in the bay area? thanks for any
help.
