In my long lost youth, I put plain old pepper in the radiator of more than one car and found the radiator leaks to have stopped. I never considered it a permanent cure, and I would not expect it to stop a leaking hose, or a connection, but I can say that it has worked on radiator leaks. I don't think its pepper that's magic, I think it is just something soluable that moves through the system till it lodges in a hole to small for it to exit. I know it sounds far fetched, but it worked and that's all I know. OTOH, like I said, I would never count on it to fix a leake permanently. John
