yes, i've seen it done. Sort of. You need to either replace the spare
carrier with a home-made one-
Bill Kasper has a sweet home made 15" spare carrier. maybe he'll post a
pict?

I've also seen somewhere on the web a photo of a spare that uses the
origonal carrier but extends the bolts. Not sure if it was the front bolt
only, or the rear somehow too.
