Tim,
I recently went through the Connecticut emissions testing with
dynamometer, passed the CO, but barely made it through the NOX by 1/2 of
one part per million! A new catalytic converter is in her future! I had
to buy a new gas cap at VW, because the old gasket was hard, and
wouldn't seal properly. Interestingly enough, my NOX reading was a lot
lower with the old gas cap, and the positive seal of the new one almost
put me over the limit...
Also, let me know if you're having trouble locating a used headlight
lens, might have a deal for you.
