   And while we're on the subject of useless features, I do like the fact
that the headlights go out when you turn the engine off, but I'd rather
determine for myself whether or not I wanna use parking lamps, thank you
very much.  I put a buzzer into the circuit as a reminder to shut 'em
off.

Funny you should mention that. The PO of my '84 put a buzzer in too. I took
it out.  I simply didn't want wiring in my van that was done by someone
other than me or the manufacturers.
