After devoting ten thousand words on this subject, it just seems like somebody would go over there, open the engine hatch and look down in there to see what the problem is. My last loud screeching noise from an automobile was a cat sleeping between the radiator and the water pump on my 92 Ford Crown Victoria. I cranked the engine and cranked the cat around a few times before I shut the engine down .............. good old Ford had a self diagnostic system that displayed when the cat came out still alive but very pissed off.
