I don't have a Vanagon and EuroVan here to compare, but I have the floor mats.

Vanagon GL passenger area = 50 1/8" long x 61 1/4 wide
EuroVan Weekender = 49 1/4" long x 61 7/8 W (GLS model is 53"L x 62 1/4" W)
EuroVan Camper = 59 3/8" long x 44 1/4" W (this has cabinets)

I don't have a Vanagon Westy mat here, or I could compare it directly with
the EuroVan Camper.

measurements are taken from the step down between the front seats, to the
front bottom on the rear seat.

My conclusion is the EuroVan has about the same or more passenger room than
the Vanagon.
