Hi... I did state very clearly that I did NOT want this thread to turn into the classic "name calling" thing... I even subtley changed the subject... to no avail. Flamebait.... true. Anyway, the Eurovan sold about 12 units in the USA... so there must be at least 11 others out there who can provide some feedback (although if they had the misfortune of buying their Euro-pigs new, from the dealer, then they more than likely had to file for bankruptcy by now, have sold their computers to pay debt, and cannot participate in our nice little discussion). And I won't even begin to approach the topic of air bags... the single most idiotic car marketing invention ever dreamed up. RSF PS. MY Vanagon has shoulder belts, had A/C (before I pulled it) has wipers that work (even after I yank them back into position after an ice-stick) and no wind noise. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Ellis" <ellisjames@YAHOO.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Wednesday, March 06, 2002 7:03 PM Subject: Re: Looking for a CA smog legal conversion/extremists > In a message dated 3/5/02 3:44:18 PM, fish@SALZBURG.CO.AT writes: > << Has anyone mentioned this before on this list...
