I was wondering if anyone has ever installed a stowable step ladder for passengers (especially the smaller ones) to get in though the sliding door?  I would prefer something that is attached or can be stowed in an easy to reach place for kids climbing into the van.

My kids are starting to wear holes in the knees of their pants when they try to climb in by themselves.  My Mother-in-law has a bad back and has difficulty, too, so it should be strong enough to hold an adult.
