Too late for this year, but I wouldn't mind having a block heater on my 82
diesel vanagon for next year.  Should really help the van start and warm up
on cold mornings.  It seems the nicest block heaters replace the freeze
plug: can somebody tell me if the diesel vanagon has a freeze plug, where it
is, and if possible, the correct size block heater to look for?
