Nobody seems to stock the 2ply sidewall tires here. Special orders cost $89 each. I don't plan on keeping my 86 Vanagon forever (plan to upgrade to a newer model) so I really don't want to fork out $400 for tires. Can anyone recommend tires that will be ok other than the 2ply sidewall type? What can I safely use? How about low profile 185-60-14s? Thanks. Dave
