I 2nd that. My 78 westy has the tank on the passenger side but it's quite a bit smaller than the one on my 87 since the older busses didn't have a propane fridge (does now!). Don't forget the stone shield either to offer additional protection for the valves/regulator. bill ----- Original Message ----- From: developtrust <developtrust@COX.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, March 08, 2002 6:10 PM Subject: Re: Alternate locations for Propane Tank > My only thought is that if you do have another tank on the passenger side be > sure to get a mud flap to defect stones etc. as the driver side is set up to > do. > > William Polowniak > 1989 Vanagon GL > 1988 Mercedes 300 SE > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "80 Westy Pokey" <pokey@VANAGON.ORG> > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Friday, March 08, 2002 5:03 PM > Subject: Alternate locations for Propane Tank > > > > Other than under the sliding door has anyone figured out a > > good alternate location for their propane tank?
