I realize larger pistons with matching rings would be required. I'm
concerned about what the increased compression will do in  terms of
additional heat generated.

I'm pretty easy on the machinery, but some things that are induced by
alterations could be destructive, or could shorten the live of the engine
and may be beyond my control.
