You forgot to mention the idle speed control solenoid and the crankshaft position sensor. Just kidding. The point I was trying to make is that my experience with TBI vs Multi-port has been more favorable which I may or may not have erroneously attributed to fewer parts. I do know that replacing or rebuilding one injector has got to be cheaper than four. TPSs and AFMs are both potentiometers, TPS is mechanical (on the throttle body attached to the trottle valve), AFM is numatic, a flap that opens with air flow, the more air the more it opens. Both prforme the same function, to tell the ECU the position of the throttle (how much air is entering the engine). > > Andrew > 1984 Westy "Speed Bump" > 1996 VW Jetta Trek "Little Beep" (the wife's car) > The Basket Bus http://www.creativegifts2go.com/vw.html > > > > _____________________________________________________________ > Show your Volkswagen pride 24/7 with a yourname@vwmail.net address from http://www.vwmail.net >
