I know, I know, it's Spring, what the heck am I doing asking about snow
tires in MARCH for criminy sakes???  Well, it's the wife (isn't it
always?), she says she wants something better NOW!

I've viewed the Hakkas and the Vreds online but there's no substitution
for real live hearsay and anecdotal evidence, I always say.

Conditions here are:

really wimpy wife when it comes to driving in the snow
new to us 84 Westy
Front range of Northern Colorado
snow packed and icy at times
