A really good if basic Blog (Web Log) software package is from
http://www.handx.net, it's free and there's a windows and palm version,
it's sort of like an online diary, you can link to pictures and upload
them through the program. It takes care of timestamping your entries and
creating links between months. I use it everyday, you can use the palm
version and the PC one side by side, the palm entries are uploaded on
each hotsync.

Set up is really easy and I'll host it if you want.

I would like to build a web site to chronicle my " Rediscover the
Americas Drive About" beginning in July.

Slightly computer savvy ...... but Web site creation knowledge is below
"WebSites for Dummies" level.

Looking for:

1. Example of travel log type web sites you like (URLs please)

2. Software that would make it simple,  is easy to learn & use. Also ...
want to have a dynamic map (North & South America) that shows where I'm
at and have been.

3. Hosting suggestions ..... cheap is the key word here. Pictures could
be linked to another site I use to store graphics.

4. Anything else I don't know I don't know.
