Help, I can't afford anymore expensive repair bills, does anyone have
any ideas about these symptoms? I've spent so much on my van it's just
so disheartening to have one expensive problem after another. I'm 1
month out of the transmission warranty for a rebuild that cost $2,000.

Now the problem has changed slightly. When the van's cold, it doesn't
shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd until the revs reach about twice
what they used to (Last week). Once the van is warmish everything seems
back to normal for 10 minutes or so then when it has reached full
operating temperature the shift from 1st to 2nd is OK but it won't shift
from 2nd to 3rd until I get to about 40 mph. This meant on the 2nd part
of my drive to work the van never got out of 2nd gear.
