So the 85 westy I bought is having more issues than that oil light,
(thanks everyone for all the help).
I'm getting about 16,17 mpg right now. Shouldn't it be more like 20 or more?
Usually I use exxon mid grade for what it's worth. The air and fuel filter
are both clean, and a brand new O2 sensor. The engine misses a little
sounding kind of like a motocycle. Even though this is my first Vanagon i
know it should have a bit more power. I blame that to the missing but can
that play into bad gas mileage? There are many things i know that can mess
with your mileage but I've got no knowledge of Vanagons. Some ideas to the
source of my problem would be very much appreciated!
