Should go strong to about 52-5400rpm, then it'll feel like you turned off
the key till it drops back to around 5K - then return to normal. Leastwise,
that's how mine has always reacted when I top a hill and forget to upshift!

Subject: Rough running after hitting rev limiter

> My '84 will rev smoothly until it hits almost the red area of the tach,
then shudder and lose power (I assume there is a rev limiter in the digijet
system that does this). After this, it runs rough and has very little power
until I can let it idle for a bit. It idles fine. Any ideas (other than
being more careful of the RPM)?
