No..you DONT.   the 2 person middle seat will fit just fine in there WITH
BOTH armrests on it, and YES you CAN CLOSE THE DOOR.
ive done it dozens of times.
 if you had to remove the armrest, youre not doing something right.

PS:  i have some 2 person middle seats for a westy, for sale..with
floortracks and seatbelts..  grey blue, or brown..p-mail me for info..
