The conversion is popular in der Vaterland. Usually with a Porsche
G50 trans. I imagine there are kits available there. I know of one
which uses the FWD V6 trans (I believe VW has dropped the R and now
just calls it V6). DON'Y ask me how the guy got the drive working, as
I doubt the diff can be flipped to reverse rotation to counter the
trans' 180-degree rotation for rear-engined placement.
